API Only Broker

edit to add: Thanks /joeledg for the suggestion on LightSpeed, I looked into them more deeply and have engaged with Robert Morse over on Elite Trader. They do tick off all the boxes (except the last, but that's really last on my list and not important) below. Please ignore the total misinformation (what really is the point of that??) you'll find in the responses below.
https://www.lightspeed.com/automated-trading/
I ignored them before because of lack of API focus, but just found they support colo/cross connect as well as everything else on the list. So that is pretty savvy.
It's possible the retail API trader is too small of a market to focus on exclusively, but that doesn't stop with providing them good service anyways. I still think there's an opportunity there with the right prioritization and engineering team, but that's a different discussion.

Looking for a broker, ideally API Only. (Competitive with IB!)

First trip report had a breakthrough and saw Ganesha

So I just had my first DMT experience yesterday.
It went something like that: as soon as I put down the pipe and laid down it felt as tough I had woken up from this “dream” called reality and came back home I had such a warm feeling throughout my not even body just my being, I guess it felt like I’m home it was very very weird and good feeling . and I remember seeing this half elephant half Buddha like creature I don’t remember much of a “conversation” just remember him and bright orange light around us, felt like I’ve known him already for a long time, mind you I’m a jew so was never interested/read about Hindu gods and Ganesha in particular, so as soon as I came out I searched “elephant dmt” on google and found alot of stories about Ganesha So I know for sure it was him
I’m a beginners forex trader for the past 2 years and I went with the intention of learning what I need to do next in order to achieve the success I want And I saw this god and he symbolizes good fortune and wealth and remover of obstacles I take it as he will remove the obstacles which impending my progress and I trust him and my self that the success I’ve been trying to achieve for so long will come soon.
Any way had to just get it off my chest would love to hear similar experiences and thoughts

USD bears beat a retreat after FOMC minutes

Saxo Bank

submitted by Altruistic_Camel to econmonitor [link] [comments]

King Bond Market Long $TLT, Bear Oil Fossil Fools and thus almost every sector ETF, selling a put of 5G companies

From the $BLK DD guy that rolled into $XLF last month. I am currently long $SLV, $GLD, $GDX, and $GDXJ with call spreads, shares, and just pruned $AMZN and $AAPL gains but keeping $ARKF, $ARKQ, and $ARKK (ETFs with $TSLA as the largest holding.)
Today, Friday's CNBC "Options Action" has just dangled calls on the $TLT, the ETF that tracks the 20+ year *BOND PRICES move inverse to yields and the Fed would not mind rates to hit 0% to spark inflation.* I concur with CNBC who suggested buying August dated call spreads on $TLT.
My $XLE long dated puts have been melting up. I am short every sector ETF but $IBB and $XLV. Be careful as these options are not as liquid as the $QQQ or $SPY but I cannot help that sectors are moving down when oil is down.
The VIX is holding steady, steady high. I am not hedging with the $VIX when stay home stonks work- the $VIX is broken imao so use $GLD, $SLV, and $TLT because bond rates are going to 0% (meaning the price goes up.)
I also concur with CNBC that options are the best way to play a market by reducing risk like selling a put. There are risky options, and very safe options if you can own 100 shares (the company could be $DTEGY Deutsche Telekom AKA T-Mobile/Sprint and the bringer of 5G eventually, pick your poison.)
I suggest selling a put for some good companies with solid balance sheets, 5G capabilities, and anything auto in the green space to get 100 shares of companies (see the next paragraph.)
My suggestions for getting 100 shares at a cheaper price would be Ericsson (trading under $10,) Dell or VMWare (you pick the one that matches your risk,) NIO (trading below $10), $NOK at $4 is interesting, and for big rollers Amazon (if you have the $ to own 100 shares at $2,500 or $250,000 or less, I would but that is for wsb) That is, if Amazon retests $2,500. I suggest 100 shares of $SHLL for YOLO if this bores you as this is the best $SPAC (but there is probably other ones because management is all you have with blank check companies.)
AFTER you own 100 shares of $AAL or $TSM or Dell or whatever, you can dump the 100 shares anytime. I suggest you keep them and sell options and join the theta gang. Why not get paid for owning your 100 shares of $TSM [Taiwan Semiconductor, the company onshoring manufacturing to America] you got at $45? $TSM August 21 $45p is $.35. If you had 100 shares of $TSM today, selling a $60c gives you $140 just for holding the shares until August 21st.
Bullish on onshoring green jobs because Trump leaving office is the biggest buy after the news ever. (Buy on the rumor sell on the news but in reverse because solar employs more than fossil fools in TX pre COVIDcession.)
For examples of selling a put: $AAL Nov 20th $2 puts are $0.14 (You are agreeing to buy 100 shares of $AAL at $2/share before or on November 20th, if you are not asked to buy $AAL you keep your $0.14 collateral and the full $14 credit.)
A shorter dated long put $AAL Aug 21st put is $0.09 ($9.) Or you could buy the death puts on $AAL but JPow exists, hence zombie companies, like Hertz, so that is just blowing money. $AAL has the highest %age interest on their debt and the CLOs (their bond insurance) were the highest, I have to check again ($AAL is the worst, but not as bad as $HTZ, a worthless zombie stock.)
*BOND prices move inverse to yields so going from 0.5% to 0% makes the price go up* Zombie companies with balance sheet nightmares is what keeps bond prices upper bound at 0.8 but lower bound is 0%.
Worthless zombie stocks include banks, fossil fools, and then by default industrials, and I hate to say that I am only long $XLK and thinking of $IBB. Every day that oil is not above $35 or in the green or both is a day stonks tank. Every stonk will fall after earnings. Short individual stonks going into earnings, wait- all stonks have cancelled earnings. See why I think maximum protection by not going long the VIX but long gold, silver, even transition phase metals, copper, and BONDS.
$NEM, $GLDI, $SLVP, $HL, $SAND, $SA, $GLTR, $PALL, $SPPP, $SSRM, $BTG , $PPLT, $PLTM, $NUGT, $BAR, $FNV all up today [I also have $GLNCY, $SBSW, and $PLG.] Why own these when you can just long $GDX and $GDXJ?
I do think rates will remain positive, until they are not positive anymore, AKA Japan and Europe :). What BOND fund would you long or short and why, besides $TLT? If a 100 year bond comes out, the interest rate will be 0% anyways in the long run, but we are dead in the long run, so long live bonds until we decarbonize the economy, tax the rich, and pigs fly (not happening fast enough.) Ray Dalio and many others have been harping about this, and a broken clock is right twice a day, or a bear is right when we are in a bear market with a broken VIX.
The bond market is king compared to the stonk market in sheer $. And ForEx trades trillions a day and is important (on days the $DXY, the basket of the dollar versus the globe) goes up $GLD should ease and is a time to buy the dip, and on days the $DXY goes down $GLD will gap up during this "bear oil/hospitality/planes" market.) When the $DXY goes down, it takes more dollars to buy the gold/silvecoppematerials, and $GLD rises and is very liquid for options. Thinking August to add to my Dec 31st $160c. That is, unless we are going to allow millions to go into poverty, so then just buy guns and physical gold and we can trade scraps of silver.
Fossil fools, the slow pace of massive renewable energy projects, and both candidates tripping overthemselves to be more anti-China during global warming and upcoming food inflation spell the need risk reduction (if you plan on holding equities please buy puts to hedge.)
TL;DR $TLT August call spreads, $TLT is the 20 year bond ETF. Pick companies you want to own 100 shares of by selling a put while long $GLD and long $SLV print money so holding the 100 shares prints money joining theta gang.

24M - stoner, loner, coder & grower

Hey all. I'm a guy from the Netherlands. You know the drill, some things about me:
I recently bought a house and I'm turning it into a homestead. My rule is that everything I spent a lot of money on, I have to grow/make myself. I've built 3 raised beds and a super makeshift greenhouse. Warm weather just hit, so everything is slowly emerging from the ground now, in 2 weeks it should look completely filled up.
I'm self employed, except I'm not registered anywhere so maybe I'm actually unemployed. I trade forex to finance myself while building up my farm. I've worked as a quant (trader and coder) for a dutch and canadian company, but most of my knowledge I got from analyzing the bitcoin market as a hobby.
I've been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder, which is sad. I got bullied as a kid and my parents mostly ignored me. When puberty hit I got really depressed and started actively avoiding people. I kept that up until my 20's, when I started therapy. I'm not in therapy anymore, I don't think individual therapy offers me anything anymore. I'm on a waiting list to join a social anxiety exposure group, but I'm waiting for corona to end. I have real life friends now, but I've never really had a girl friend, which I'm very insecure about.
I am and always have been a hardcore science freak and atheist. Although with therapy I also found myself getting more and more spiritual. I'm trying to figure out what place I should put this new "thing" in my head. So far shamanism seems to vibrate the most with me, paganism would be a good second choice.

Constructively Dealing with Failure, Doubts and Anxiety.

After my recent post on "Health Over Wealth in Day Trading" a lot of people sent me messages, and a lot of people have the same sorts of questions. I've now had a chance to read all these (if I've not replied to you yet, I will) and thought I should do a post covering the recurring themes I see in questions people ask.

There are many ways to ask the same question and address the same concern. To reduce these down to one simple question what people have the most trouble with is "Will I ultimately succeed?". To reduce this down to a more honest question, "Am I good enough?". This is something that starts to nag at you after you've put in notable effort and experienced nothing but short term success followed by crushing failure.

Let's first address an important question, and not one I see people being told to ask themselves often enough.

"Should I even try?"

Many times people say things that have an underlying statement of "Maybe this is not for me". Most communities will meet this with support and encouragement, but are these always the best thing to do? Maybe it's not for you. Through all different methods and styles to succeed in trading people have to be able to balance an expectancy of winning with an acceptance of loss and also confront the fact that no matter how good they get, there is never any certainty in what the next candle will do. You have to find some kind of "zen" with all that. Initially it will jar against the default thought processes and emotions of most people. Depending on different aspects of your character re-training yourself to accept and overcome this can be easy or maybe even impossible.

It's not only "can you do this?", but also "do you even want to?" If you are able to do this but it's going to be a horrible experience for you, are you sure it's the best thing to be investing your time and energy in? The fact you've decided to take on the Forex markets shows you are more free thinking and probably more driven than a lot of people. Do not sell yourself short, you can do anything you want. Is this really going to be the most beneficial way for you to obtain what your ultimate desires are (which is probably not to be a trader, it is something you believe that will bring with it).

Some people can't do it. Some people could, but it's probably not going to be enjoyable for them. To put it into a simpler example; if you're legally blind you can not be a pilot. If you're terrified of heights you technically could be ... but do you want to be? It's okay to walk away. You can dip a toe in and decide against it. The water is cold, and it takes a while to warm up.

This leads us to the next question to be asking yourself. Some of you while reading through the above would have been finding ways to affirm to yourself that you do want to do this. It is for you. You will find your way. If you have been thinking anything along the lines of that ... why? What is your happy ending? Take some time to really think about what your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is. Project yourself into this life in your mind. Take some time to live there in your thoughts. You want to go somewhere. There'd be no reason to doubt you'd "Make it" if you were not. Where is it? Why?

Once you've been able to clearly identify where you want to be and why you want to be there, think about the sort of person that is needed to be there? Hopefully you aim high, really high. So the sort of person it has to be is epic. Legendary. Dare I even say a hero! Get a clear idea of who that person is in your mind, and then realise you have the privilege of crafting this person into existence. This is the wonder of life. We can pick these things and we can progress towards them. Then once we have succeeded, we get to play in the world which we once fantasised over.

I am going to repeat it, because I really want those who need to understand this to get it into their heads;
Get a clear idea of who that person is in your mind, and then realise you have the privilege of crafting this person into existence. This is the wonder of life. We can pick these things and we can progress towards them. Then once we have succeeded, we get to play in the world which we once fantasised over.

Once you have done this, you have a far healthier way of looking at your objective. All you need to do is keep asking yourself what your hero (future you) would do. What would they know you do not? What might they have read? How would they think differently? What flaws do you have relative to them? You are less inclined to ask yourself questions like "can I do it?", "will it work?", "Why do I always lose". You'll be more inclined to phrase these same thoughts (which are doubts, fears and anxieties) as "What it is I need to do?", "How do I make it work?", "How do understand my losing trades"? Your mind will seek out answers to the questions you put into it with your own thoughts.

Depending on your starting place the exact same feelings, events, situations and outcomes will trigger self questioning (we all have it, as far as I know) and the way you have set out your perspective on how you view yourself relative to your end goal will determine how these questions are framed. Constructive questions have constructive answers. If you are not clear on where you want to go, and the person you will have become to get get there you will ask yourself questions from desperation. When you have done the steps laid out here, you will ask yourself questions of determination.

The line between desire and despair is hair thin. Be sure you keep on the right side of it by having a compelling ending to work towards.

Once you have adopted this approach, there is no real failure. Everything is small relative to the big pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Every time your make actions and decisions that are not up to the standard they should be, you just got a chance to learn more about the things you have to do to transfer today's you into the required hero you. It's only information. It's just telling you where you need to improve. Understand you are good enough. Right now, you are good enough. If you get this into your head, you'll do the rest. What you are not, yet, is ready.

"Every time I feel like I've made some progress I end up disappointed. I think I've got something, and then it breaks down"

Welcome to speculation, my friend. There are many paths and many dead ends. Your future hero needs to know this. The only way to find this out in a way you know it truly and personally is to have experienced it. This is part of the price that the current you has to pay for the future hero you to be possible. Sucks to be you, for a little while. The longer you stick at it, the more you have compounded experience. When you see something new, you can relate it to things you've seen in the past and be quicker to understand it. The more you've seen, the more potential to understand what you see.

You're just learning to lose. It's not that big a deal in the long term. The problem is you've not framed learning to trade as learning how people lose in trading, as well as how people win. You need to know both sides of the coin. They're almost one and the same. By doing the opposite of those losing, you will become a winner. When you keep that in mind, isn't it wonderful that you can generate tonnes and tonnes of firsthand information on how you can lose money in the Forex markets?

First become a more analytical loser. Do not be emotional. You should know by now your future hero has to be rational, cool, calm and pragmatic. Examine how you lose. Try to find the worst trades, because these are where you can make the most progress. Slightly adjusting your point of view on the markets will make your worst trades your best trades. Doing this is not too hard. The hard bit is truthfully understanding why you make bad trades. What thoughts or analysis you have that routinely produces losing outcomes? Literally on the other side of that is the technical ability needed for your happy ending.

"I've been trying for a long time and I almost feel like I know less now that I ever did"

Welcome to trading, my friend. There will come a horrible point where you feel like the stuff you learned has only made things more complicated. Information conflicts with other information. Your assumptions get blown away by the market doing things you've not seen before. It is like all the progress you have made get wiped out, but it does not. Not as long as are critical in your assessments. Where could you have been better. What did you do wrong. Never allow yourself the luxury of blaming the market or unexpected events. Always ask yourself how you should have done better. If you want excuses for not doing as well as you could have, you'll find them. People will console you with them (because they excuse themselves with them), but the fact is if you do not take every thing that happens and try to work out how you could have done it better, you are squandering opportunities to progress and improve.

Always blame yourself. Don't be harsh on yourself, just always think there is a future hero version of you that can do that so much better. The reason they can, is because they learned to be accountable for their outcomes. Always blaming yourself for your short comings will pay off later, when you know damn well it was you that crafted your own success. It was never luck. You need to take an internal locus of control perspective on the markets (Google that if you do not know what it is). While maintaining this at all times, you must also understand you do not influence the market so you must follow it (not try to dictate it). These are somewhat conflicting things, but that's trading for you.

For all it's nuances and complexity, life is simple enough. Who you are determines what you can do. If you are able to make a profile of the person you'd have to be to do whatever it is you want to do, you can build yourself into that person. A lot of people experience pain because they lament that they are not that person today, but we can enjoy the process if we start to value the building of that person. Each day, we get to do it. Then we get to be it.

The Republic Trooper and Sith Warrior make great foil.

EDIT: Charles Boyd just commented. This is the happiest day of my life.
Definition of foil. Warning: TvTropes is well known for killing time as fast as Vitiate kills people on Ziost.
I've noticed throughout the game that the Republic Trooper and the Sith Warrior have plenty of opportunities for comparison. As such, I have compiled a list of as many similarities and differences between each class as possible. Feel free to suggest more.

Discussion, Questions, Solutions, Inputs - AusFinance 2018

Hello everyone,
Hope you have had a good week.
It has been a while (read: ages!) since we had a discussion as a community.
In the past when the members were still below 5,000 this kind of post were always pleasant, includes healthy debates + quality banter, great inputs for the direction of the sub and so on... I hope we can keep this culture alive.
Move forward about 2 years in (a little less than a year ago) we only had 10,000 subscribers and the climate was still calm and warm. Now we have over 25,000 subscribers with 1million+ pageviews in the past month alone (1,088,590 to be exact).
From where I am sitting. The mods are exhausted. The days where we get to sit around and just read the sub's contents casually whilst watching tv and warn rude members is slipping away!. Seems that mods have to put the beers away now and deal with it. There are now:
And so on...
As a result, Members are temporarily and some permanently banned, posts removed without warning, guidance seeked from moderators can be replied without a firm policy and enforcement. It's those nasty stuff.
With the exception of an advice being given to a person and the requirement to have relevance to Australian finance and economy, there has been never been any other iron-clad rule implemented in the sub.
AusFinance has always been supported by its members' quality participation rather than iron-clad policy. And I'd like to keep it that way. Though the recent boom in our pageviews and participants does decreases your influence as a single member to have an impact to the larger community by quality posts and the voting system.
These issues were expected as the sub grows, though I don't think anyone would forecast the boom we have had in the past couple of months. And I think we are at the start of going in the direction where I can no longer visit it with enjoyment. So let's not wait until it's too late!
The below is what I have in mind (not a collective thought of all moderators) on where we might go:
Property is only a single topic out of all possible discussions to be had in the sub. There are micro and macro economy, portfolio management, derivatives, currency exchange, regulatory environment, loans, personal finance, and many more!!!
u/jackimatic initiated the property mega-thread to have some relief on the number of property posts which has exploded recently. This is not sustainable as we single-out a topic to be permanently stickied in this sub.
I've always wanted the sub to have balanced content. Thus, regardless of the fact that Australians are so obsessed with this asset class -- I don't see it happening in this place.
One option is to refer poster to AusProperty and lock the post. This does not mean we ban all posts about property; but to limit property discussion within a broader context, for example: buy vs rent, interest rate impact, portfolio management and economy as a whole. What's out the door?: speculation about property prices, property construction, micro movement in property (i.e. auction results and "look! NSW property price went down by 0.5% last week!) and the likes gets the boot.
There will be no fast and hard rule about it and there will be some human judgement involved. Basically, if you get your posts locked and referred to AusProperty then don't complain.
Some posts about personal finance around here also reflects the person's specific circumstances. Let me reiterate that we cannot provide advice, and when you make such posts -- it is difficult not to do so. What is supported here are the likes of budgeting techniques, academic studies (i.e. we can discuss those of what people study in Financial Planning), or scrutinisation of certain approach as discussed through certain books (most popular being mentioned around here are the barefoot investor. But you know, there are other dozens of quality books with approaches that are proven just the same!).
There is fiaustralia to discuss early retirement (if that is your thing). They're a good sub which specialises in this type, a good addition to AusFinance.
As said above, there are some posts sourced from the media which I sometimes wonder if it is just a personal rant expressed through a news article or just to gain karma.
Thus, all linked articles must be accompanied by OP's insight into the article and how it is relevant and possibly utilised. Failing to do so grants the mod full discretion to remove the post.
Another solution to this, is to only allow text posts within the sub. Though personally, I like the varieties of pictures at the front page :P
The bigger the sub = the higher the requirement for rules and its enforcement = the drier it can get.
I much rather see a small sub with quality posts and discussion rather than a big sub with rants and politics all around. AusFinance will be open to all discussion, though when the need arises a new specialised sub will be promoted.
If this is to be enforced, there are still questions over what the maximum subscriber will be and to keep certain personalities within. In the past, I pulled a number out of my ass and got 25,000. Never I expected that in one year alone we are already over that number at this time.
I've never had the time to get into all the detail of what it can do. I'd still prefer judicious approach by using human judgement, though some classification on posts won't hurt.
If possible, I am thinking to have categories as a requirement for every post. just like askscience
Minimum 1 category, maximum 3 categories (as some subjects may overlap).
If possible, for all categories there will be a wikipage. Then, for all posts to be automatically submitted/posted into the wiki. Categories will be: property, lifestyle, debt/mortgage, news/media, general discussion, AMA, shitpost, career, derivates, tools, books discussions, tax, negative gearing, investing, forex/currency, insurance.
This way, we'll have higher visibilty of what the topics are + Wiki will also be constantly updated.
If there are any expert out there, let me know if the above is possible :P
Let the discussion begin. Questions, solutions and inputs only please. Rants will be removed.
Post will be stickied only for ONE WEEK (okay, maybe two if it has some lengthy quality discussion).
New moderator may be required to help in managing the sub.

CMV: the EU shouldn't join the BRI

The U.S. China trade war has significant implications. Zhou of the South China Morning Post writes Chinese firms are less enthusiastic about investing in the country’s trade and infrastructure strategy and Beijing is more wary of throwing money at the BRI as it comes under pressure from the trade war and falling forex reserves. Because of this, China lacks the funding to continue the development of the BRI. Meyer of UPenn writes China’s planned to use at least $400 billion in funding from government banks, but the program has ballooned beyond infrastructure construction. BRI lending by major [Chinese]banks has dropped by 89% since 2015, and lending by commercial banks has ceased entirely. The EU joining the BRI solves these problems. Ciutrain of the European Institute of Romania finds that China cannot financially and logistically manage such an ambitious project alone. The only possible partner is the EU.
We agree that the EU is the only viable option to fund the BRI. Now, Climate change is a looming threat, yet it’s consequences are preventable. Turrentine of the National Resources Defence Council writes that climate scientists concluded that if humans don’t take immediate action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2040, the consequences will be baked into the planet.
China, once a key contributor to climate change has cleaned up their act. The World Economic Forum finds after years of industrialization, China’s environmental challenges are nearing a tipping point. The factories and power plants that have have polluted its air, water and soil, to the point where environmental hazards could lead to a significant risk to China’s society and economy. Because of this, China has taken steps to improve the environment domestically. Gardiner of National Geographic writes that Chinese car emissions standards set to take effect in 2020 will be comparable to Western ones. But the focus remains on industry. China has closed 103 coal-fired power plants and it cut steel production by 50 million tons. This is significant since China, a country that the Resources Institute finds contributes 26% of greenhouse gas emissions is taking steps to limit their environmental impact.
These actions have been counteracted by the BRI. The first reason why is because of coal plants. Lu of Friends of the Earth writes that “As China has reduced its dependence on coal domestically it has expanded overseas, to relieve excess domestic capacity.” This is quantified as Tabuchi finds that China is planning 1600 coal projects in 62 countries with the BRI. This leads Lelyveld of the RFA to conclude that, Chinese financial institutions are the world's largest funder of overseas coal plants. These coal plants are problematic since Mooney of the Washington Post finds that New coal plants that are planned could produce 150 tons of CO2 during their lifetime.
The second reason why is because of general infrastructure. The construction and use of the infrastructure planned with the BRI produces emissions. Zadek of Brookings states New infrastructure accounts for half of new sources of emissions. Investments BRI countries could make up 60 percent of global infrastructure, so BRI countries could be the largest source of growing carbon emissions over this critical period.
The third reason is deforestation. Losos of the World Bank reports that BRI roads and railways changing transport costs can shift markets and human populations. This can open frontiers to settlements that involve deforestation. Deforestation is problematic since Bennett of the Climate Institute reports 25% greenhouse gas production comes from deforestation since forests store double the CO2 than the CO2 in the atmosphere, so when deforested occurs, CO2 stored in trees is released into the atmosphere.
The impact is forced migration. The BRI’s increase of global emissions surpasses the 1.5 degree limit for climate change. By ignoring the threshold, the BRI exposes the planet to increasingly harmful natural disasters. The National Wildlife Federation finds that Climate change is worsening the impacts of natural disasters, including hurricanes, megafires, droughts, and floods. As natural disasters become worse, people are forced to flee. The World Bank reports that if greenhouse emissionf15
s aren’t cut, there will be 140 million climate migrants by 2050.

Malaysia To Impose Restrictions On Cash Transactions The Malaysian government plans to impose restrictions on cash transactions reports local media platform The Star. According to the publication, the move is part of efforts to combat money laundering in the country. Commenting on the plan, Datuk Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, the deputy governor of Malaysia’s Central Bank Negara (BNM), remarked: “This is to address the abuse of physical cash used for illicit activities.” Malaysian economist, Barjoyai Bardai believes the proposed cash transaction limit in the country could boost digital currency adoption.
EU Is Working On ECB Digital Currency With Possible Progress Next Year According to Reuters, progress on the feasibility of a digital currency backed by the European Central Bank could be made in the coming months, senior officials said on Nov 8, cautioning that the project faced challenges and was for the long term.
Tunisia Issues Central Bank Digital Currency On Nov 9, the TASS news agency reported that the Central Bank of Tunisia was to be the first to release a digital currency. The ‘E-dinar’ was officially launched in the test form at the Forex Club of Tunisia, with a symbolic transfer of one dinar between the head of the central bank, Marouane El Abassi, and a representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading down nearly 5% at its current price of $8,850, which marks a notable drop from its 24-hour highs of $9,300.
Prior to today’s drop, Bitcoin has been caught in a relatively tight trading range between $9,000 and $9,500 for a couple of weeks, and neither bulls nor bears had been able to incur enough strength to push the crypto out of this trading range until early this morning when bears forced it below its lower range boundary at $9,000.
In the time since its drop, BTC has shown no sign of slowing its decent, as it continued to slowly grind lower as the morning dragged on.
